Top Five Favorite Lady Burgundy Matte Lip Creams

Happy New Years Eve beauties! Can you believe 2018 is just a few hours away, I am so excited to start a fresh, brand new year. As you probably figured out from the title, today’s post is all about my five favorite shades from the company that makes one of of FAVORITE liquid matte lipsticks, Lady Burgundy! 

If you’ve been following Glamour and Giggles for a while now, whether it’s through my blog or any of my social medias, you may have seen me rave about these lippies. I’ve been a huge fan of the product, packaging, formula, brand, basically everything since their first liquid lipsticks launch! I’ve been fortunate to have gotten to know the founder of Lady Burgundy, Amrita, and was given an incredible opportunity to interview her and learn more about the brand - you can check out the interview here!

It’s been so exciting seeing a fellow Desi girl launch her own business and create amazing products that work for a diverse range of skin tones. One of the biggest issues I’ve had as a beauty consumer is finding that perfect nude lip. I’ve tried SO many brands and shades and while I did find a few that worked for me, I was never satisfied. That is, until I tried Lady Burgundy’s Matte Lip Creams! Their second liquid lippies launch was actually 5 nude lips! You can see the range here. SPOILER! I can go on and on about Lady Burgundy but let’s get right to the point - my favorite shades + the giveaway.

Ella

Ella is that perfect pink nude that won’t wash away your complexion. I’m not surprised it’s a cult favorite amongst their lippies, it is such a beautiful nude that looks great on all skin tones!

Amelia

Amelia is a blue toned pink that will look stunning on all complexions! I love this one because it really does suit my skin tone without being such a crazy finish. I’ve tried so many pinks in my time but haven’t found anything that I can wear on a day to day basis like this one.

Noor

Noor is a warm mauve and immediately stole my heart with its first use. It is SO STUNNING, all my mauve lovers need to give Noor a try!

Priya

A vibrant magenta with berry undertones! This is such a wearable shade for me - I always feel so confident in it!

Madison

A dusty rose nude - I was actually hesitant to try this one when I first got it because every “dusty rose” I tried in the past washed me out and did not suit me at all. This one, however, is so so beautiful and great for daily use!

Although I love their other shades too, these are the five I reach for the most. I think they are incredibly flattering on a wide range of skin tones and the formula is so comfortable to wear and doesn’t compromise the longevity.
