Yes!! I feel like it's so underrated but it's such a great product for those wanting a natural look!
Alright beauties, this is a long overdue review. I mean..I've used up 3 of these Urban Decay Naked Skin One and Done Hybrid Complexion Perfectors (my god this is a mouthful!) already and am well onto finishing up my fourth bottle. So yes, it's about darn time I reviewed this product!
I had been using Urban Decay's Naked Skin Ultra Definition Liquid Foundation before I saw this hit the shelves and did enjoy it but somedays I found it leaving my skin a tad bit oily. That didn't stop me from using 2 whole bottles though! Fast forward to when this particular product hit the shelves. I was so intrigued because it stated it was a skin treatment that provided the effects of a sheer foundation. It's also meant to blur imperfections, even skin tone, and be a long lasting - all day wear.
I've tried dozens and dozens of foundations and I always rely on this one for daily wear. Why? Because it does exactly what it's meant to do.
The Naked Skin One and Done comes packaged in the box shown below. You can see the ingredients listed on the back. Here's a description from Urban Decay's website:
We’re not exactly what you call low-maintenance when it comes to beauty (and we’re not ashamed to admit it). But we’re more than happy to take a shortcut or two—as long as it doesn’t look like we did. THIS is one of those times. Naked Skin One & Done Hybrid Complexion Perfector combines all the benefits of skin treatment and protection with the coverage of a sheer foundation. This multitasking cream is the best of both worlds!
Instantly blur imperfections and even out skin tone—for beautifully perfected, ultra definition skin. (Naked Skin One & Done gets the job done so well, there’s no need for foundation.) Our high-tech, weightless formula provides all-day wear and feels amazing. But the best part is how it transforms the look of your skin! Light-diffusing spheres instantly help make flaws seem to disappear. Over time, pores look smaller and skin appears noticeably firmer and more radiant. And our broad range of easy-to-match shades covers a wide spectrum of skin tones.
In a clinical study of Naked Skin One & Done, a majority of participants had:
• An immediate improvement in the look of skin tone that lasted for up to 8 hours.
• A significant improvement in radiance after 12 weeks of use.
• Significantly firmer-feeling skin after 12 weeks of use.
• Visibly smaller-looking pores after 8 weeks of use.
We loaded this oil-free formula with so many nourishing ingredients (including peptides, vitamins and moisturizers), you’ll be tempted to skip your skin treatment. Gatuline® Radiance—derived from the wu zhu yu plant—improves the look of radiance, tone and texture. And SPF 20 protects against sun damage.
Fill Weight: 40 ML / 1.3 FL OZ
The Naked Skin One and Done comes in a sleek tube in a nude and gunmetal ombre design. You can see the pump that dispenses the product below (please ignore how dirty it is, I've been taking it everywhere I go). I love the packaging because it doesn't take much space on my vanity and I don't need to worry about it breaking when I travel.
The cost is $34 and you can find this on the Urban Decay website, Sephora, Ulta, Macy's, and Nordstrom!
For reference, I have an oily T-zone and quite a few dry patches. My skin is also sensitive with a bit of redness and acne scars.
The formula is a medium consistency - not liquidy like their Naked Skin Liquid Foundation but it's not also super thick. It's a tiny bit thicker than the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer.
How does it wear? It's a light to medium coverage and covers my imperfections to the point where I rarely use concealer. This covers my redness and most of my acne scars with one thin layer. I usually use a beauty sponge to apply this because it helps with the dry patches. Some seasons my skin doesn't suffer from dry patches so I'll use a flat top kabuki brush. I can usually get up to 8 hours of wear with this foundation and it feels completely natural, nothing heavy at all.
The one complaint I do have with this product is the shade range. There are 6 available shades and I'm in between Medium and Medium Dark. I currently use Medium Dark as it's the summer but I switch to Medium during Winter time.
Considering I'm on my fourth tube, I'm sure you won't be surprised when I say I absolutely love Urban Decay's Naked Skin One and Done! It's perfect for daily wear and I think it would work well on all types of skin tones. If you're looking for a foundation that has skincare benefits and leaves a natural, light to medium coverage - I definitely recommend this product!
Although the shade range is limited, there are tons of custom drops available on the market that can aide in creating the perfect shade for you!
You can purchase this product here. Have you tried Urban Decay's Naked Skin One and Done before? Let me know!

I feel like I have never seen this in stores. I definitely need to try it!
Yes!! I feel like it's so underrated but it's such a great product for those wanting a natural look!
I typically use a foundation that is full coverage because I was not blessed with pretty skin - sad face - but sometimes, once and a while I'll want a light coverage particular for Summer because who wants tons of make up on! I also feel like not many people talk about this product, so always nice to hear about something new 🙂
I agree! I used to stick with a full coverage foundation but my skin can't handle them anymore 🙁 And yes! I was surprised to see how many people didn't know this product existed but glad they now know!
This sounds like magic! I never really go for sheer foundation, love the idea of it, but my skin just needs more. I have a similar skin type to yours, so seems like I may just need to add this one to my list! 🙂
Let me know how you like it!!
Cant wait to try this! Thanks for the post 🙂
Thank you, let me know your thoughts!
This sounds pretty good! i really need to branch out my foundation range (I've only tried like 2-3 brands lol)
Oooh do you have a favorite?
I like the idea of being able to skip treatment in the morning while using this, but I'm always in between the light and light-medium shades in foundation. It would be a bummer to have to mix two at this price or get a second product to adjust the product. I'd also be concerned about changing the product effectiveness with something else. Know what I mean?
I completely understand! It's so frustrating since I'm in between two shades as well. I sometimes use Foundation drops from NYX to create a custom shade!
This sounds like a perfect product for summer! Definitely on my wishlist
I'd love to hear your thoughts once you get to try it!
I've been wanting to find a lighter coverage foundation for the sumer that won't cling to my dry patches. So glad that I found this review, I definitely need to go out and try this foundation.
