Urban Decay’s Naked line is one of my favorites whether we’re talking about foundations, concealers, eyeshadows, etc. They have proven to be reliable products for me since Day 1 of being a beauty junkie and the palettes especially are total classics. The Naked 3 was actually the first ever high end palette I bought! When I saw the Naked Heat come out last year, I knew I had to have it. I didn’t own many fiery, warm toned shadows until the day I got my hands on Naked Heat.
I’m not sure if you remember but the first sneak peek of the swatches that came out were a HUGE letdown. Judging from that photo alone, I didn’t have the highest of hopes. Thankfully though, tons of influencers came out with helpful reviews soon after - many of which showed that this palette truly has the amazing formula as the other Naked palettes.

Naked Heat can be purchased from Urban Decay’s website directly as well as other retailers like Sephora, Ulta, and the many more out there! I personally recommend purchasing it from Ulta if you utilize their points system.
Like the other Naked Palettes, Naked Heat costs $54. These palettes are a tiny bit pricier than competing brands like Too Faced’s Chocolate Bar ($49) and Tarte’s Tartelettes ($46) but I don’t mind paying the $54 for the Naked Palettes. They are just THAT GOOD.
The packaging is similar to Naked Smokey in the sense that it’s a hard palette case as opposed to the tin-like packaging from Naked 3 or the velvet-ey packaging from the original Naked palette. The color scheme of Naked Heat’s packaging mimics the shades in the palette - fiery oranges, reds and browns!
Like I mentioned above, I am a HUGE fan of the Naked palettes. Although I only own Naked 3, Naked Smokey and Naked Heat - I have played around with the first two, thanks to my friends, and hope to add them to my collection in the near future.
As for the Naked Heat specifically - the shade range is right up my alley. Ever since I started wearing contacts starting Spring 2016, I’ve been experimenting with different eyeshadows whether it’s different shade ranges or finishes. Burnt oranges and reds are shades I LOVE using, I really enjoy how they look on my complexion. Naked Heat’s shade range is full of rich shades which really pop when creating both day and evening looks. This is one of those rare products I can’t find a critique for. It REALLY works for me and my needs. I just love how easy it is to use - the shade range works so well for me and the formula is perfect. I did share a quick look I created a couple weeks ago on Instagram - I used the shades Low Blow, Dirty Talk, En Fuego, Ashes, and Ember.
