That is such a great idea!
Ladies, I'm sure most, if not all, of you will agree when I say getting my period is something I NEVER look forward to. Mood swings, cramps, bloating, and fatigue are just a few PMS symptoms I dread during my cycle. I always thought there would be NOTHING that could make me feel any type of positive emotion when it comes to periods until I heard of The PMS Package.
In short, The PMS Package is a monthly subscription service that delivers a box full of goodies straight to your doorstep during your cycle! Use code STRESSFREE to get up to 35% off your first box during the month of December. This is a non affiliate code, just FYI!
*This post is not sponsored but the product was sent to me for review purposes. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
The PMS Package is a monthly care package that aims to help women feel better about themselves when the time of the month arrives. Each box includes goodies that are meant to fulfill your cravings as well as products to pamper yourself. You can choose which date you'd like your package to arrive on each month when filling out the specifics for your subscription.
The PMS Package ships free to the US and also ships to Canada and the United Kingdom, you will need to select a specific package + add ons to determine the shipping rate. They also mention customs duty fees may apply for international subscribers.
There are different packages to choose from, the Original package starting at $29.99/month for month to month options and Premium starts at $34.99/month. Rates are slightly cheaper if you choose a 3, 6 or 12 month option.
The Original package is the cheapest and contains 7 items each month. The Premium package costs a few dollars more and contains 8-11 items each month.
The photo above shows what I received from The PMS Package (Premium Box). As you can see, I received a great number of goodies. I had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised after opening my box. There were snacks perfect for my chocolate cravings as well as fun products to pamper myself with like the cucumber eye patches and lavender essential oil rollerball. This box also included a beautiful, colorful scarf, holiday friendly candle, as well as some Advil and feminine products.
Like I said above, I was pleasantly surprised with The PMS Package. I have tried other subscription services with a similar cost and mission in the past and was not impressed. Since I had those thoughts in my mind while waiting for this product, I didn't have the highest expectations. However, after opening the box and pulling out item after item, I was pretty darn excited. The scarf was so stunning and felt really snug and comfortable. I am a candle and essential oil snob so having both items had me jumping up and down! Also, I am a HUGE chocoholic so you can bet I dug right into the snacks as soon as I snapped the above photo. Basically, I was really happy with the products included.
A few things things I wasn't impressed by was the price. My box was said to have a retail value of $50 and a one time cost would have been $34.99. I find that a bit pricey as well as the Original box, which would have had a few things less at a price for $29.99. Their shipping page did state their was a Mini box but I didn't find an option to subscribe to that..maybe they took it off for now? Not entirely sure! Nevertheless, it would be nice to have a more affordable option out there for us ladies on a budget. I also wish this subscription was more customizable in the sense of allergies and dietary restrictions. For example, I have an allergy to ibuprofen so I can't take Advil. Not a huge deal since I can pass it along to someone else but having options would be more preferable! I hope I don't come off as needy or snobbish, these are just a couple things I thought of when trying out this subscription!
Overall, this was a great box and I will be making use of almost everything! I did enjoy the products and have seen past boxes that were just as great. What are your thoughts on The PMS Package? If you'd like to give it a try, use code STRESSFREE at checkout to take up to 35% off your order!
Just when I thought subscription boxes had thought of everything! Fun stuff in the box (love all the snacks!), but yeah it is a bit pricey.
That is such a great idea!
What a cute idea in the age of subscription boxes!
Sanders is a Michigan company and a big favorite. My eyes zeroed in on those choc covered chips instantly. I'd love that. I think your extras are great - the scarf and candle in particular.
Waaw,.. Nice package,.
