Thank you so much Laura!
Hello beauties, I hope you’re all having a wonderful Thursday! One of my fellow bloggers, Dippy Writes, inspired me to write up this post. I highly recommend visiting her blog - she has great posts on beauty, fashion, and lifestyle!
I was originally going to have two separate posts, one for my lazy day routine and another for a makeup look with 5 products, but I realized they would be super similar so I decided to combine the two!
I just want to put out there that I’m no MUA or beauty expert, I just love playing around with makeup and I learn new things each and every day.
This lazy look is what I typically do for most days, I prefer to just cover up most of my acne scars and smear on some lipstick before running off to class or wherever else I may have to go.
As many of you may know, I am currently in school to get my Master’s in Health Administration. I stress out way too much for my own good which causes me to break out like crazy, mainly while classes are in session. That being said, I’m still trying to find a better way to cover up my acne/dark spots so any tips/tricks would be appreciated!
Onto the products I used:
Loreal Paris Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner
This eyeliner is super creamy and I love using it on lazy days because it applies super quick compared to my other liners. However, I don’t use this if I’ll be out for more than a couple of hours because it can start to get runny. If I am out for long I’ll use Milani’s Retractable Pencil or Urban Decay’s Glide On. I do want to try Ardency Inn’s pencil soon though, I keep hearing that it’s a holy grail item!
I didn’t use a liner on my top lid today but if I do I usually will stick to the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner or Mac’s Fluidline.
Smashbox Photo FInish More Than Primer Blemish Control
This is the only primer I like at the moment but I do want to find something from the drugstore because like Kathleen Lights would say, “girl, das esspensive!”
Mac Studio Fix Fluid Foundation
This foundation works so well on me, it’s super easy to apply compared to other foundations I tried and it gives a nice medium coverage! It does tend to make me break out sometimes but I haven’t found anything that will give me the same type of coverage. Maybelline Fit Me and UD’s Naked Skin are on my list though!
Buxom Full On Lipstick in Acapulco
This was the first lipstick I ever bought so it does have a special place in my heart!
Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer
I just got this to review a couple days ago and so far I really like it! This has a thicker consistency compared to the Mac Concealer I’ve been using.
So those are the 5 products I used for this look! I do switch up lippies, eyeliner, and add in eyeshadows but this is what I basically do for days I’m feeling lazy - which is about 80% of the time!
Looking gorgeous honey, I really love that lip colour on you xxx
Thank you so much Laura!
As a fellow college student, I've also been keeping my makeup minimal lately. I haven't found a primer from the drugstore I like yet, but I really like Smashbox's Hydrating Primer for when it's particularly cold outside or my skin is feeling dry.
I'm going to have to try out that primer! My skin's been crazy dry and flakey recently and it's becoming harder to put on my foundation without it settling into some dry patches 🙁
Beautiful look Priyanka! I love this post, I'm curious to see if I can do a 5 product challenge... It may be a little hard for me. Hahah. Thanks for sharing <3

Thanks so much Brigette! I'd love to see you do a similar post, I agree though, it's super challenging!
