JOAH Beauty gifted me a few shades of their latest launch prior to launch day. I tested Crystal Glow Primedation out and have first impressions, swatches, and all the product details in this post.

I’m using PMW050 right now but am going to test out a deeper shade since I found PMW050 a hair too light - it will definitely work great towards the end of fall and during winter though! I used the beauty sponge JOAH Beauty sent in the press package and found this foundation to blend seamlessly.
I applied one layer of JOAH Beauty Crystal Glow and found the product to blend seamlessly on my skin. You can see in the photo what half of my face looks with a single layer of while the other half is bare. This foundation gives the natural, radiant, and smooth finish that is described by JOAH Beauty.

Since this formula is infused with a smoothing primer, I skipped applying primer. I use a smoothing primer often and I can see myself continuing to do without applying my own primer when using this foundation but I will say, it doesn’t give me the full smoothing and blurring effect I look for but it is pretty close!
I have combination skin and am picky when it comes to foundations that provide a radiant finish since I have an oily t-zone. I wore this foundation for about 6 hours prior to washing it off and was really happy with how my skin didn’t turn into or feel like a greasy mess. I completed my look with a close to full face of makeup after applying the and all my other layers of makeup applied really well on top.

Overall, I do enjoy this foundation and can see myself reaching for it often since I do prefer light to medium coverage. feels really lightweight and skinlike and gives a healthy luminizing finish.
