Glamour Collection Unboxing | My Collab With Beauteque!

Happy Monday!!

Usually Mondays are bleh but I am so pumped for today since the collection I curated with Beauteque is on sale!

Beauteque had a competition a few months back where 3 bloggers were chosen to curate their own collection! The winners were Michele from Unboxing Beauty, Kristen from Newly Minted, and yours truly! I am SO thankful Beauteque allowed me to create this collection - it was such a fun experience and I will never forget it!

Let's unbox this collection first and I'll share more about my experience at the end!

What Is The Glamour Collection?

The Glamour Collection features 5 full sized products to create a glamorous look as well as prep your skin before and after applying makeup! Glamour can be interpreted in so many different ways but in my comfort zone, a glamorous look entails a soft eyeshadow/face look with bold eyeliner and lips!

(Can we please take a minute to appreciate how simple yet beautiful the artwork on the card is?! I LOVE IT!)

Along with the 5 products, this collection comes with an information card detailing all the products included!

Availability and Cost

This collection is available in the US as well as internationally! Shipping depends on where you live but from past experience with Beauteque, I am guessing shipping will be $3-$5 depending where you live in the US.

Products Included

It's Skin Professional Fix Gel Liner in 01 Black - $13.99

For me, personally, an eyeliner is something I can't live without! I find that gel liner works the best when I want to get a really nice, precise cat eye or something more natural. This wasn't my first pick - the liner I wanted couldn't be sourced - but it was a great alternative! It's Skin is brand I have been loving recently and this liner doesn't flake on me nor and it has really nice lasting power! You will either get this eyeliner or a Holika Holika Jewel Light Gel Liner in Brown!

A'Pieu Soochaibit Finger Blusher in Coral 02 - $12.99

I was trying to figure out if I wanted to add a blush or a lippie to collection and I decided to go with a blush since the lipstick I wanted couldn't be sourced. I have swatches of this finger blusher below, but right off the bat, I can tell you that this is subtle and natural looking on my skin! Don't worry if coral isn't your color, you will be able to choose between this, a pink blusher, or a highlighter!

Etude House Look at My Eyes Shadow in BR405 - $9.50

When I think of glamour, I think of a natural or neutral eye shadow paired with an intense eyeliner look and bold lips! I think this Etude House Shadow is a perfect all over color for the lid and can be paired with other colors to create diverse, beautiful looks!

From left to right: eyeshadow, blusher, eyeliner

FaceQ Aloe Moisturizing and Soothing Sheet Mask - $1.90

I'm not going to lie, the first thing I wanted to add to this collection was a sheet mask! I chose aloe because it maintains moisture and reduces irritation. One of my favorite things about sheet masks is that you don't need to wash your face after using it! Apply this on your face for about 15-20 minutes and massage in any excess essence into the skin!

The Face Shop Herb Day Massage Cream in Mugwort - $9.00

Adding the massage cream was Beauteque's idea and I was happy they wanted to include this because I am a huge fan of the cucumber massage cream I got in a past collection! You will either receive cucumber, aloe, or mugwort and what you basically do is massage it on your face for about 5 minutes and wash it off! The mugwort massage cream is meant to rejuvenate, refresh, and fight signs of aging!

Overall Thoughts/Experience

This collection has a value of about $46 and costs $26 + shipping! I had so much fun curating this with Beauteque and I couldn't thank them enough for giving me this opportunity! I was in contact with Caitlin via email for the past couple of months and I can't express how much I appreciate how hard she and the rest of the Beauteque team worked to bring my vision on this collection to life! Also, it was super fun and interesting to get a taste of how collections are curated and what obstacles can turn up - such as products being discontinued.

This was definitely an experience I never thought I would ever have - not once in my life did I think I would ever get a chance to do something like this! I'm so thankful for my friends, readers, and everyone who supports me in this journey because I wouldn't have been able to do this without you all!

This looks amazing! You did such a great job curating this. I can't wait to get my hands on that eyeliner! It looks fantastic.

  • OOh this sounds fab, I don't have any subscriptions at the moment but I love the mix of products. The sheet mask appeals to me the most as I love my skincare! xxx

  • These look like some really great products! I love that coral blusher and how it can be used so many different ways. I could picture throwing it in my purse and using it to touch up my lips and blush on the run. That shipping is a little steep, though!
