Five Best Cruelty Free Liquid Eyeliners To Create A Perfect Wing
Winged eyeliner has been my favorite thing to do from the moment I began to play with makeup. Sharp, bold wings give me a whole new level of confidence and today Iโll be sharing my five go to liquid eyeliners to create that perfect, intense wing. If youโre here for for affordability, I gotchu. If youโre here to splurge a little, I gotchu too. If youโre looking for an incredible cruelty free eyeliner..guess what. I GOTCHU.

Thatโs right, the five eyeliners Iโll be sharing go from insanely affordable to splurge worthy. Youโll be able to create an incredible wing that will LAST ALL DAY with each of these AND every single eyeliner Iโll be sharing is CRUELTY FREE. Iโll also be sharing ways to save a few bucks for your next beauty purchase!
Just an FYI: I have combo skin and my lids are primarily oily. Iโve had so many eyeliners – liquid, gel, pencil – transfer to the top of lid but the ones Iโm sharing here have NEVER budged or bled.
Letโs go from the lowest to highest price, just for the heck of it.

Before we get started, tip #1 for saving a few bucks. If youโre an online shopper like me, I HIGHLY recommend shopping with ebates. You get cash back from hundreds of retailers including Sephora and Ulta! Once you sign up for ebates and spend $25, youโll get $10 cashback!
Back to the eyeliner! These five eyeliners have ALWAYS given me long lasting wings that totally could have sliced and diced all my vegetables I avoid chopping.
Essence Eyeliner Waterproof Pen – $2.99
One of my favorite Essence products FOR SURE! The tip of this is on the skinnier side so if youโre looking for precision, this eyeliner is for you! Also, this is waterproof which is what made me try it out in the first place. It only takes one embarrassing experience in the rain..okay maybe two for me to keep a good waterproof eyeliner in my makeup kit. Nothing like having an flawless cat eye ruined in the rain because I forgot waterproof makeup was a thing.
To save some money remember that Ulta has their $3.50 and $5 off coupons available each week you can use if there are other drugstore items youโre thinking to buy!
Wet N Wild ProLine Felt Tip Liner – $3.99
This eyeliner comes in black and brown – in fact I just picked up a replacement of the black the other day. If youโre looking to save some $$ drugstores almost always have coupons/sales available, plus keep in mind what I said about Ulta coupons above.
Iโm going to sound like a broken record when I describe why I love each eyeliner but this one is perfect if youโre into bold wings and graphic liner. The felt tip is on the juicier side and disperses a larger amount of ink if you want to do a thicker wing but it also easy to control if you want something less intense.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Liner – $20
This was one of the MOST recommended eyeliners when I was first started building my makeup kit and is always one of the first ones I recommend when someone asks for an intense eyeliner built for precision.

Ardency Inn Punk Rock Waterproof Eyeliner $22
*PR Sample
Iโve been using this for MONTHS now and cannot describe how well it performs. My favorite thing about this is how deep the color is and how precise I can get my wings each and every time!
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner – $22
My MOST used liquid eyeliner. I have a special place in my heart for Stilaโs liquid eyeliner because it was the first ever eyeliner I bought. Also, itโs works SO WELL! It gives me the perfect wing every single time AND itโs waterproof!
BONUS: There is a sixth eyeliner that I have been loving lately. However, Iโve only used it a handful of times which is why itโs here at the end and not a part of the top five..yet.
Elf Cosmetics Intense Black Liner – $4
*PR Sample
I shared this eyeliner on my Instagram stories during an unboxing and first impressions/wear test – itโs saved under the โUnboxingโ and โMakeupโ highlights here!

This has a fatter tip BUT is so easy to create a simple wing! The formula is very pigmented, dries down fast and DOES. NOT. BUDGE. For $4, I do think itโs worth a shot!
Here are swatches of all 6 liquid eyeliners:

Do you spot any of your favorite liquid eyeliners? Let me know what your go to liner is!

Stila is my GO TO eyeliner!
Yes!! Such a great one!
I am addicted to winged liner. I love the Primark PS Eyeconic eyeliner it’s my holy grail. This is a great post
I must try that one out soon!!
For eyeliners, I’m all about the drugstore brands! NYX is definitely my favorite and I love the more fun and unusual colors for when I’m feeling wild haha!
I’ve always switching my liners up! I like using liquid liner on top and a pencil in my waterline. I used the ELF one with the fat tip, but I didn’t really like it too much. I just felt it was too hard to control ๐
