I’ve been leaning towards light to medium coverage bases lately and when I saw Fenty Beauty release their Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint, I knew I had to give it a try. It’s marketed as everything I wanted - light to medium coverage and blurring effect on the skin. I tried quite a few makeup products from Fenty Beauty over the years and really enjoy everything I've tried. Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Foundation, Gloss Bomb, Stunna Lip Paints, and Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer are a few of my favorites by Fenty.
I purchased at my local Sephora - a lot of shades were sold out at Sephora when I was wanting to purchase and I wanted to be shade matched. Pro tip: when you get shade matched, have a swatch of another foundation you feel is a true match to your skin to compare to the foundation you're trying to find your shade in! This has helped me get a true foundation match when shopping for foundations and concealers in stores. For example, I asked the person who matched me to help find Eaze Drop that's closest to my Dior Forever Matte Foundation shade!
This product is exactly what the name suggests, it's a skin tint that leaves skin looking smooth with an even toned complexion with light to medium coverage. Eaze Drop comes in 25 shades, is vegan + cruelty free and available for $29.50. Eaze Drop is available at Sephora and Fenty Beauty's website.
The packaging of Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop is a squeezable bottle that allows for easy dispensing of product.
I bought shade 13 - medium golden. It’s a perfect match to my medium skin with a warm/olive undertone. I shared a try on video of the Fenty Eaze Drop here.
Below is a photo where you can see where I have no Eaze Drop on the right vs one layer of Eaze Drop on the left.
One one layer of this tint gives me incredible coverage and makes my skin look smooth and even compared to the side without the blurring skin tint. I truly wasn’t expecting this skin tint to cover as much redness and acne scars as it did. I used a brush to apply the skin tint but you can use your fingers too. The formula applied super smooth and blended like a dream.
All the products I layered on to complete my look applied beautifully as well and Eaze Drop did not move around, crease, or give me any reason to touch up throughout the day. I didn't notice any patchiness throughout or the end of the day either. I definitely see myself using Fenty Beauty’s Eaze Blurring Skin Tint regularly. It’s perfect for me to use on a daily basis on its own to achieve a smooth + even toned, blurred complexion as well as great to wear at work!
Sharing an update as of 4/23 - I’ve been wearing Eaze Drop for over 9 hours and want to share my experience on how it lasted throughout the day. Below is photo of Eaze Drop fresh on my skin and the bottom is 9ish hours after.
I used a trusty primer underneath Eaze Drop - Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer (I have a full list of my favorite primers here!) Eaze drop sat beautifully on the skin and like the other times I used this skin tint, other products layered beautifully on top. I did ZERO touch ups on my makeup throughout the day. You can see that some of the product did fade but it wasn’t as much as I expected. My nose is pretty bare and the product is pretty much off because my lunch was pretty spicy and I was wiping my nose more than usual. I am pleased with how it sat throughout the day considering I did not blot or touch up any part of my face and had pretty busy and active day. Some foundations, tinted moisturizers, etc. do crease on me and break down over time, especially around my jaw and forehead areas but I did not experience this with Fenty’s Eaze Drop.
Eaze Drop is available in store and and can also be purchased . Have you tried Eaze Drop?
