Summer is right around the corner and I’m ready for some newness in my beauty kit! I recently refreshed my beauty collection with products from budget friendly brands like LA Color, Believe Beauty, and the Dollar General Studio Selection. Keep reading to see some fun Summer beauty selections alongside a glimpse of my travel makeup kit and organization without breaking the bank!
I hauled my Summer beauty picks at Dollar General - items there are already incredibly affordable but I was able to save additional monies by using their Dollar General app! Although I haven’t been wearing much makeup during the pandemic, I wanted to add some new blushes and lippies to my Summer beauty collection for days I have Zoom meetings plus when I want to add some pop of color to my day.
There are tons of budget friendly beauty brands available at Dollar General, including LA Color. I picked up their green and orange color correcting concealers. Orange for dark spots and green for redness.

I definitely don’t need any more brushes but that won’t stop me from picking up a couple affordable ones for backup! These Beauty Accent brushes are perfect to keep in my collection for when I’m in need of a clean brush quick. I picked up the foundation brush specifically for applying masks and the eyeshadow brush for when I share swatches.

Believe Beauty is a budget friendly beauty brand only available at Dollar General. Their products are marketed as cruelty free, premium quality makeup, all $5 or under! The bulk of my haul is from Believe, I wanted to test out a good portion of their selection.

Although I have no travel plans anytime soon, I picked up a new London Soho New York travel bag for when the occasion arises. Not only is this perfect for my Summer beauty picks, it’s perfect for year round travel. It’s quite a bit smaller than my other makeup bags but that was intentional since I have minimized my makeup routine quite a bit in the last several months. There’s a separate compartment for makeup brushes and tools and one for all the beauty products. It’s cute, study, and best of all, under $10!
As a beauty blogger, I accumulate more products than the average beauty enthusiast so storing products is something I struggle with at times. I love my 9 cube organizers and these grey storage cubes from Dollar General are so sturdy and perfect for storing some of my extras. They had a ton of colors and designs to choose from and they’re less than $5!
