Always! I’m so glad I read your review of the lip oils - it was so helpful and makes me super excited to give them a go!
A new collection from ColourPop! Inspired by succulents and the freshest blooms, ColourPop’s NEW Garden Variety Collection features a new Eyeshadow Palette, brand new Jelly Much Shadows, Lux Lip Oils and Blush Duos, SOL Body Mini Glow Oil, and Fourth Ray Beauty Mini Mist Duo. ColourPop Garden Variety launches on August 6, 2020 at 1PM EST.
I wanted to share photos and swatches of the ColourPop Garden Variety Collection as soon as possible so y’all could get a feel for which products to haul tomorrow.
Y’all know I’m a sucker for ColourPop. I’d say at least half of my makeup collection is full of ColourPop Cosmetics! I invested in TONS of their products since the first day they launched. If you’re interested in seeing other ColourPop posts on G&G, click here!
PS: I have a ColourPop coupon code to share with y’all! It may not work on this collection since it’s a new collection and that’s one of their exceptions, but code 5PRIYANKA will take $5 off your order!
Can we take a moment to acknowledge the stunning packaging? I am a sucker for packaging and the floral design and color palette of Garden Variety is beyond gorgeous. You can check out the entire collection !

I didn’t receive every single product in the collection so to see the lip oils, blushes, and jelly shadows that aren’t shown in this post - you can see swatches of them at my friend, Amanda’s channel! Amanda at Makeup Just For Fun shared an in depth review + swatches and talks more about each and every product in greater detail.
ColourPop Cosmetics, Fourth Ray Beauty, and SOL Beauty are all cruelty free.
Now, let’s take a look at each product more closely.
ColourPop’s Garden Variety Eyeshadow Palette features 15 shades to create the freshest looks with pops of shimmering color and rich earthy mattes. Features a mix of formulas: pressed powder eyeshadows, pressed pigments, and super shock shadows. I’ve used all of their pressed eyeshadow formulas and they’re truly amazing. I love that they’re all so blendable and easy to work with without the hefty price tag. Every eyeshadow shade in the Garden Variety Eyeshadow Palette swatched seamlessly minus the last shade, Root Em Up. It was a tad bit patchy but hopefully it will perform well when applied on the eyes.
Deserted: matte ivory

My favorite shades right off the bat are Succa 4 U, Clay Day, Over the Bloom, and Smudge Off.
Now I order from ColourPop quite frequently, as I love their HUGE array or colours and the fact that there is always something new and it's already super affordable.

ColourPop Cosmetics’ Jelly Much Shadows are one of their more innovative formulas that delivers high impact looks in one swipe. They’re long-wearing, don’t crease or fade, and dries down to a powder finish and leaves 0 fall out. I received the shades Sage Bundle and Desert Days. They’re both extremely beautiful! Be sure to check out Amanda’s video to see swatches of the other two shades, Saguaro and She Grown.
is a pink ivory with teal flip and is a cool pink with blue, silver, and gold pearl.
Not shown here: is a warm peachy pink with gold shift and is a warm coral with gold shift.
This in the Garden Variety collection features the Pressed Blush in Night Bloom and Lux Lip Oil in Reign Check. I’ve used a few pressed blushes from ColourPop and really love the formula, they’re silky smooth and offer the right amount of pigment with a blendable formula. I’ve never had any issues with the shades I’ve used! This blush looks a bit too bold for me but I am excited to give it a go!
Lux Lip Oils, on the other hand, are a newer formula by ColourPop and these are my first ones. I haven’t experimented with this formula yet but my friend, Shipra, has and you can see her initial thoughts and lip swatches here!
Lux Lip Oils claim to be nourishing with antioxidant rich chamomile & calendula oils and provide a sheer kiss of color.
This duo features the Pressed Blush in Terran Up My Heart (still cry laughing at the name, the ColourPop team is GENIUS) and Lux Lip Oil in Blossom Out.
There are two other duos available: featuring a terra-cotta blush and lip oil + featuring warm pink blush and lip oil. If you're interested in purchasing the lip oils or blushes alone, below are the links to take you to their individual pages:
4 Lux Lip Oils $8 each (shades: , , , and )
4 Pressed Powder Blushes $8 each (shades: , , , )
This Glow Oil in Warm Gold is a new shade!
When it comes to glow oils, body shimmers, etc. SOL Beauty is one of the first brands I reach for. Their body products are lightweight and not as messy as others I’ve experimented with.
Fresh AF and Glisten Up are not new to Fourth Ray Beauty and I’ve used them both before and enjoy them! Fresh AF provides an instant refresh while Glisten Up provides a hydrated glow. I love these mini bottles - they’re perfect to stick in your purse!
I am here for ALL the scrunchies. This trio is super cute, super soft, and a fun addition to my scrunchie collection.
That’s ColourPop’s NEW Garden Variety Collection! What products do you want to add to your collection? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Thank you for the shoutout! I am really excited for the palette, the lip oils and the scrunchies. It all looks stunning!!
Always! I’m so glad I read your review of the lip oils - it was so helpful and makes me super excited to give them a go!
