Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipsticks – Are they Worth the Hype?
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks are a well loved lipstick formula and the shade is a cult favorite among so many. Unfortunately, it took some time for me to purchase it because I didn’t see many reviews of Pillow Talk on skin hues close to my medium skin with warm, olive undertones. In the end, I decided to take the splurge and give it a shot after my no buy ended. I also purchased Pillow Talk Medium out of curiosity and to share what both shades look like on my skin. These are well loved (I can see why after trying them myself!) and come in over . The most hyped shade I’ve seen beauty enthusiasts speak about is Pillow Talk so I knew I had to experience it myself, along with its sister shade, Pillow Talk Medium.

, on me, looks like a perfect every day toned down pink nude. I enjoy the formula, especially the way it glides on extremely smoothly. I also REALLY love the way Pillow Talk looks on me. It’s a pretty pinkish nude I can wear daily in a casual look and I can also dress it up for a glam, evening look. I can see what the hype is about. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk Medium
is a deeper version of the original Pillow Talk. is said to look extra dreamy on medium skin tones. It’s described as a deeper, dreamy berry-pink.
With being described a berry pink, I envisioned more pink than what the shade lets on. I’m not mad about it though because I do really like what looks like on me, it’s just not what I initially expected. I see more warmth and brown than expected. I really enjoy this shade and the formula is just as smooth as the OG Pillow Talk.
is a beautiful shade to wear year round but especially during Fall. I did find to be more opaque than Pillow Talk.
Is Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick Worth the Hype and Splurge?
$34 is not cheap, especially for lipstick. I can buy the entire range of one of my budget friendly lipsticks for less than $34. However, after experiencing these shades and knowing I will wear them very often, I do think they’re worth the hype and splurge. If you’re in the same boat as me where you know you’d wear the heck out of these lipsticks, I’d say they are worth the splurge and hype!
