Best Nude Lipsticks for Brown Girls | My Favorite Nude Lip Shades
Nude lipsticks have often been difficult to find, especially for someone like me with an olive complexion mixed with the fact that the beauty industry was not as inclusive back in the day. Thankfully, things are much more progressed, shade ranges are expanding and there are a ton of new beauty brands + OG companies that cater to a wider spectrum of consumers. I’ll be sharing nude lip products I absolutely am OBSESSED with that are perfect for brown girls, however, I believe most, if not all, of these would look beautiful on all skin tones. More so, I have lippies for all budgets whether you’re looking for something on the affordable side or something splurge worthy!

Bare Minerals Gen Nude Liquid Lipsticks in BO$$ and Friendship – $19
BO$$ is a dirty pink beige and Friendship is an antique rose. I was obsessed the moment this line of lippies released. If I could, I’d own every single shade but for now I’m happy with the several I have in my collection. The formula is comfortable and these two shades are perfect for my complexion!
A deep tone beige – a classic! I LOVE this shade to bits and pieces!
A warm brown in their satin finish – you can’t go wrong with Mac lippies!
Jordana Sweet Cream Matte in Tiramisu – $4.99
A dusty warm terracotta – super affordable and incredibly gorgeous! Not the most long lasting but I often wear this on days I know I’ll be out for a shorter amount of time.
ColourPop Cosmetics Lippie Stix in Lumiere – $5.50

ColourPop Lux Lipstick in Layover – $7
A medium rosy beige – ColourPop Lux Lipsticks are 100% worth adding to your collection if you’re looking for a comfortable, long lasting classic matte lipstick! This particular shade is absolutely G O R G E O U S! See swatches of more Lux Lipsticks here!
ColourPop Cosmetics Lippie Stix in Cami – $5.50
This one’s described as a cool toned mauve. Cami is in their Matte X finish which is super matte and dries down to a powdery finish. I will say, this and Ella are my most used nude lips. I’ve gone through multiple sticks of Cami! Here are more swatches of ColourPop Lippie Stix!
ColourPop Blotted Lip in Drip – $5
If you’re into more natural lip formulas with a subtle hint of color, ColourPop Blotted Lips are for you! This particular shade is a rosy mauve and I LOVE using it on my no makeup days. I have a full review + swatches of ColourPop Blotted Lips here!
Described as a pinky brown, it’s one of the most beautiful shades in my collection!
ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in Dopey – $6
Mauve with a purple undertone – OBSESSED with this shade AND formula! If you’re into a comfortable matte finish, this is for you! Not transfer proof tho.
Essence Matt Matt Lipsitck in 02 Perfect Match – $3.99
This nude is stunning for day to day looks! It’s also crazy affordable and the formula is super comfortable.
Lady Burgundy Matte Lip Creams – $20
I have six shades I want to share with you all. Yup, I’m in love with SIX of their nude matte lip creams..they’re so perfect from the shades to the formula to the packaging. I have reviews of their line here and my favorite from their entire collection here!

A perfect pink nude! This is one of their cult favorites and for good reason! It’s definitely my favorite nude Lady Burgundy offers.
Maha
A gorgeous teddy bear brown that’s a perfect your lips but better for medium to dark skin tones!
Olivia
A nude with a punch of coral – love wearing this shade, it’s so stunning and vibrant! I couldn’t find this shade when taking swatches but here’s a previous swatch I did.
Madison
A dusty rose nude – I can’t get over how beautiful this shade is!
Isla
This is the most unique nude in this favorites list as well as Lady Burgundy’s collection! It’s a violet meets grey. I have to say I was very apprehensive of trying this shade but I enjoy it SO much!
Noor
A warm mauve – it is so versatile and so stunning on the lips, it’s a shade I reach for often!
