Lipsticks are hands down one of my favorite makeup products. So many fun shades, formulas, finishes and they can really add so much to your overall look. I’m sharing some of my favorite drugstore lipsticks in today’s post.
A couple of these are specifically found at ULTA or online only but I wanted to share them as they are budget friendly and lipsticks under $12.
Hands down one of my favorite liquid matte lipstick formulas. These do not budget, have intense color payoff, and the wand applicator allows for precise application. Tons of stunning shades to choose from and one of my favorite Maybelline lipsticks!
These ColourPop lipsticks come in a variety of formulas and my favorite is hands down the Matte X. It’s like the matte but dries down to a more powdery finish, instant full coverage pigment with one swipe, and is much more long wearing. These liquid matte lipsticks from JOAH are so comfortable and like the name suggests, very longwearing. I have a whole post about these liquid lipsticks here!
One of my friends got me hooked on these back during grad school days. They provide a nice wash of color to lips while also keeping lips nourished! My favorite shades are Rhubarb and Plum.
Love this line of lipsticks not only for the affordable price point but also because there are over 50 shades to choose from! The formula of these L’Oreal lipsticks are gorgeous and so comfortable to wear.
Love reaching for these when looking for a good, classic matte lipstick. They’re a creamy matte formula that’s super comfortable to wear and applies easily on the lips without tugging.
This lip glaze from Flower Beauty is infused with hemp derived CBD and nourishes and calms dehydrated lips. I love the shade Dreamy because it helps make teeth appear whiter since it’s formulated with blue tinted pigments!

These are a more watery consistency that dries down completely matte. Wet N Wild Liquid Matte Lipsticks are super pigmented and have a great lasting power.
One of my OG favorites - these Milani lipsticks are super comfortable to wear and are a satin finish. They’re formulated with Vitamins A and C to provide moisturizing benefits and have medium to full lip coverage.
Yes - one more ColourPop lipstick hits this list. What can I say - they’re just so good! I love the ColourPop Ultra Blotted Lips because they’re perfect for days you’re going for a lighter wash of color or a natural makeup look. They provide a nice tint of color while leaving a comfortable matte finish. I have swatches of them here!
