Beauty Empties: Products I Finished Recently + My Honest Reviews
In this beauty empties roundup, I’m sharing the products I finished over the past few months and my honest thoughts after using every last drop. My recent empties include a mix of haircare, skincare, and body care, some that completely won me over and others that were lovely but not quite repurchase-worthy for me.
Finishing a product gives you a much clearer sense of its results, texture, and overall value. Some of these have already earned a permanent place in my routine, while others helped me better understand what my skin and hair respond to best.
Below you’ll find a quick recap of the products I finished, followed by more detailed thoughts on each one. If you’re looking for haircare recommendations, gentle skincare, or a few standout beauty discoveries, there may be something here worth adding to your list.

Beauty Empties Review
Bumble and Bumble Seaweed Shampoo*
This shampoo surprised me in the best way. It has a very gentle formula but still does a beautiful job cleansing my thick curly/wavy hair without stripping it.
With this one, my hair always felt soft, clean, and nourished. It’s a lovely shampoo if you’re looking for something lightweight that still keeps your hair healthy and balanced.

Kerastase Paris Discipline Shampoo
I actually purchased this shampoo immediately after returning from my Disney Cruise. When I had my hair washed and styled at the Untangled Salon on the ship, the stylist used this shampoo and I noticed right away how smooth and soft my hair felt afterward.
This formula is designed to help with frizz control, which is something I’m always looking for with my curly/wavy hair. It keeps my hair feeling nourished while making it much easier to manage and style. I’ve already repurchased another bottle since finishing this one.

Living Proof Scalp Care Revitalizing Treatment*
During the fall and winter months I tend to deal with a dry, itchy scalp, so I like to keep a scalp treatment on hand for relief.
This one works beautifully, my scalp always feels calm and refreshed after using it, and it doesn’t leave my hair greasy or weighed down. The only drawback for me is the price. There are more budget-friendly options that perform just as well for my needs, such as the Derma E Tea Tree Oil Scalp Relief Treatment, which I’ve repurchased several times.
Because of that, while I do really enjoy this product, it’s probably not one I would repurchase at full price.

Naturium UV Reflect Antioxidant SPF 50*
This sunscreen has a lightweight, fluid texture that spreads easily across the skin. It doesn’t leave a white cast and feels comfortable on my sensitive skin, which I always appreciate.
Overall, I think it’s a very nice sunscreen and a solid option if you prefer thinner formulas. That said, I’ve tried a few sunscreens that I personally reach for more often, particularly the Beauty of Joseon Sun Relief sunscreen, which feels even more comfortable on my skin.
So while I enjoyed using this one, it’s not currently at the top of my list of products to purchase soon.

OLLY Mood+Skin Bright Vitamin Infused Body Wash
OLLY launched a line of body washes not too long ago, and I was grateful to partner with them on a campaign featuring this collection.
I ended up really enjoying the Bright body wash and used it most mornings in the shower. I paired it with the Renew body wash in the evenings, which I’m actually very close to finishing as well, and I’ve already repurchased another bottle.
What I appreciate most about these body washes is that the scents are beautifully balanced. They aren’t overpowering, just fresh and uplifting. The Bright body wash in particular left my skin feeling soft, clean, and ready to start the day.

Ranavat Bakuchi Creme
I discovered this moisturizer through one of Ranavat’s ritual sets, which included several sample sized products I’d been curious to try. I already love their Radiant Rani Saffron Serum, so I was excited to experience more from the brand.
The Bakuchi Creme was an immediate favorite. It turned out to be the perfect winter moisturizer for my sensitive, combination skin, rich enough to deeply nourish my skin without feeling heavy or clogging my pores.
As the name suggests, this creme incorporates bakuchi seed, a natural alternative to retinol that helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while still being gentle on the skin. The texture feels incredibly luxurious, and it quickly became a staple in my evening routine.
I loved it enough to purchase the full-size version as soon as I finished the sample.

Ranavat Resurfacing Saffron Masque
This saffron masque was another product included in the Ranavat set I purchased. One of the things that initially appealed to me was how quick and easy it is to use, you only need to leave it on for about two minutes.
Despite the short treatment time, the results are beautiful. My skin always looked noticeably brighter, smoother, and more radiant afterward.
The formula includes saffron to help brighten the complexion, fruit-derived AHAs and papaya enzyme to gently exfoliate away dull skin, and licorice root to help calm and soothe irritation. It quickly became one of those treatments that makes your skin look instantly refreshed.
This is another product I loved enough to repurchase in the full size.

Standout Favorites
These are my top three standouts, ones I’ve already repurchased:
- Kerastase Paris Discipline Shampoo
- Ranavat Bakuchi Creme
- Ranavat Resurfacing Saffron Mask
Each of these brought something special to my routine, whether it was helping manage frizz, deeply nourishing my skin during the winter months, or giving my complexion an instant glow.

Final Thoughts
Overall, this round of beauty empties had several wonderful discoveries, especially in the skincare category. I love looking back on finished products because it’s one of the best ways to see what truly delivers results over time.
A few of these have already been repurchased to continue being a part of my beauty routine, and I’m excited to continue using them.
Have you finished any products recently that you loved? I’m always looking for new skincare and beauty recommendations, so I’d love to hear what’s been working well for you lately.
