Journaling has been a great way for me to clear my mind, sort through my thoughts and feelings, reflect on life, and discover new things about myself. Self discovery and self reflection are two things I spend more time on so I’ll be sharing some 50 journal prompts for self discovery that are great to start out with any day or time.
Some days I like to free write while other days I use journal prompts to help get my thoughts on paper. Journaling is one of my favorite forms of self care and helps me in numerous aspects of life. I shared journal prompts for anxiety in a previous post here and below I listed journal prompts for self discovery.
Journaling helps me get all my thoughts out of my head. I don’t have a consistent journal routine, instead I journal when I feel the need for clarity or want some time to reflect, usually 2-4 times a week. I prefer journaling in the evenings but do like to have morning journal sessions when time permits.
