Natural and Fresh – My Every Day 3 Step Makeup Routine

As much as I love creating full + medium coverage and glamorous makeup looks, my preference for the last few months has been a routine with minimal makeup for a natural, fresh look. It takes less time in the mornings and allows my skin to breathe. I only use 3 products in this makeup look: a blurring primer, mascara, and lippie and I’m sharing my favorite my favorites in each category!

Using a blurring primer, mascara, and lippie helps me look fresh and alive without using a whole ton of products. Blurring primers minimize pores and give my skin a smoothing effect, mascara allows me to enhance my lashes while a good lippie brings more color to my face. 

Others might want to replace or add on to this routine with concealer to brighten their under eyes or brow products to bring a bit more definition! This 3 step routine is just my preference based on my needs.

Blurring Primer

There are 4 primers I’m currently rotating, marked with *,  through but I am adding a couple more to the list since they’re ones I absolutely love and hope to repurchase in the future!

Each of these are amazing at minimizing pores and smoothing skin for a blurring effect and these are also ones I use when doing a full face of makeup. Each helps to create a smooth base for makeup application.

Mascara

There are SO many great mascaras on the market but these are ones I’ve been using the most lately:
